Did you know that with GeneratePress Premium, you can easily change your site logo specifically for mobile devices? Here’s a quick guide to show you how.

Step 1: Ensure GeneratePress Premium is Activated

To change your logo for mobile only, you need GeneratePress Premium.

  1. Go to Appearance > GeneratePress.
  2. Under Modules, ensure that the Menu Plus module is activated. This module is required to access the mobile header options.

Step 2: Access the Mobile Header Options

  1. Navigate to the Customizer.
  2. Go to Layout > Header.
  3. Now, you should see the Mobile Header option available. If you don’t see it, ensure that the Menu Plus module is activated as mentioned earlier.

Step 3: Customize the Mobile Logo

  1. Switch to Mobile View within the Customizer to preview how your site looks on mobile devices.
  2. Enable the Mobile Header option. When this option is off, your default desktop logo will be used for both desktop and mobile views. Once turned on, you can upload a different logo specifically for mobile.
  3. Click on the Mobile Logo option and upload your desired logo for mobile devices. For example, you might want a simpler or more compact version of your logo for better visibility on smaller screens.

Step 4: Publish Your Changes

After selecting your mobile-specific logo, click Publish to save your changes.

Step 5: Verify the Changes

Refresh your site and check the logo on both desktop and mobile views to ensure everything is displaying as expected. On desktop, you’ll see your full logo, while on mobile, the alternate logo you selected should appear.

Why This Feature is Useful

This feature is particularly handy if you have different logo variations, such as a horizontal logo for desktop and a vertical or simplified version for mobile. It provides flexibility in displaying your branding across devices, ensuring that your logo looks great no matter how visitors are viewing your site.

This simple yet powerful feature can make a big difference in maintaining a consistent and visually appealing brand presence across all platforms.
